Silva has created many pieces in Chile and in the U.S. in a wide variety of techniques and media, including: Stone and Wood Carving, Welding, Clay Modeling, Wax and Bronze, Ceramics, and at present, Computers. In Chile he won many awards and a grant that brought him to the U.S. Here he has been awarded several grants and commissions as well, and mounted several exhibitions. (See Resume) |
